Predominantly matured in American oak hogsheads with some European oak refill. Truly spectacular stuff from the beautiful island of Skye.

Nose: Banana fritters, sea spray, old oak furniture, cider apples, a whiff of Frazzles, all held together with crumbly fudge notes.

Palate: Floral heather - perhaps a hint of rose too. Develops heavier notes of salted caramel, chilli chocolate, smoky barley and nectarines.

Finish: Smoke becomes sweet on the finish, with an undercurrent of cedar.
