Relatively uncommon to come across nowadays since Mortlach distillery stopped supplying casks into the market.

This particular whisky has been maturing in a nice first fill sherry cask for 10 years. Bottled at 59.3% abv. Does the high abv mean it will be too strong? absolutely not. Quite a sweet and smooth dram, granted you don't gulp it down too fast.

Toffee, sugar Cane, cinnamon, dates, milk chocolate notes in this one.
