Murray McDavid Benchmark Series presents this Aultmore 15-Year-Old Speyside single malt, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2024. The whisky was finished in a unique combination of Pedro Ximénez, Oloroso sherry, and Amarone wine casks, creating a complex and multi-layered flavour profile. On the nose, expect dark cherries, raisins, and toasted hazelnuts with hints of milk chocolate. The palate delivers dried figs, plums, and toffee balanced by spiced oak and espresso notes. The finish is long and warming with dark chocolate and molasses. Bottled at cask strength 51.4% ABV, with only 1,127 bottles produced.
