The Maltman - Master Series, Edition 1, Macallan 25y, 1989, 47.9%, 385b (Cream Box)

This is a lovely bottle of Macallan 25 Year old bottled under The Maltman. This was distilled at the Macallan distillery on the 26th January 1989, bottled at natural cask strength on the 15th December 2014. This cask was matured in an Oloroso sherry cask (Cask #1196) with only 385 bottles produced.

This bottle also has a signature from Donald Hart, the chairman of The Maltman series. Comes in a lovely wooden presentation box.

Tasting notes from the booklet within:

Nose: Sherry, dried fruit, with a hint of cinnamon spice.

Palate: Dark Chocolate with a creamy texture flows in to sugared almonds and rich sherry.

Finish: Buttery notes with some coffee, followed by some orange and the warmth of spiced ginger.
