Macallan - Rare Cask 2016 release, 43%

An NAS series of Macallan that has not caught the attention of the world. A very nicely packaged whisky. Developed initially to try to deliver the message - that a good whisky does not necessarily need to have an age statement in order to be defined as a good whisky.

The whisky itself allegedly uses some 256 sherry casks for production. Bottled at 43% abv.
