An unpeated Islay whisky! If you had to taste this blind folded, you wouldn't know this was not-Islay.

From this single malt, single cask, cask strength, scotch whisky, expect:
This straw-coloured whisky has a sweet nose of vanilla custard, ripe fruits drizzled with honey, and oak. The palate is creamy, mellow and smooth with more soft fruits and honey, dark chocolate and some pepper. The finish is long with some lingering spice and a hint of oak.

Distilled in 1991 at Bruichladdich distillery, an Islay distillery. A 28 year old whisky that has matured in a refill hogshead barrel, bottled in 2019, at 50.7% abv. 

Only 295 bottles produced from this cask.

Non-chill filtered, natural colour, bottled at cask strength, direct from barrel to bottle, no added water.

The First Editions is a cask strength series of (scotch) whiskies by the Independent bottler Hunter Laing.
