Bowmore is an old distillery. It is one of the survivors on Islay and is now an iconic whisky label. This bottling is 23 years old, matured in HHD (hogshead)

Natural colour and at cask strength. As pure whisky as you can get, direct from barrel to bottle.

The First Editions was set up by Andrew Laing of Hunter Laing and focuses on mostly older ages of single cask bottlings of whisky that he chooses. Hunter Laing was created when Douglas Laing split down the middle in 2013 and the two brothers Fred and Stewart went their separate ways although both stayed in the world of whisky.

Hunter Laing also now has Ardnahoe distillery on Islay with one of the best views ... weather permitting... looking over at the isle of Jura.
