This 10 year old whisky is from the Islay region, Caol Ila distillery. Bottled from two ex-bourbon barrels, flavour notes include: pear, iodine, lemon, citrus, peat. A medicinal style, peated whisky, with some mossy/green notes.
Bottled at 46%. Only 639 bottles produced.
Hepburn's Choice is a series of whiskies that showcases key characteristics and flavours from each cask or from that particular distillery. An easy going range of single malt, single cask whiskies.
All Hepburn's Choice whiskies are bottled at 46%, are non-chill filtered, and natural colour. Bottled by Hunter Laing, of which Caskells (under Jon Dory Limited) is agents for in HK & Macau.
