Hakushu is one of Suntory's distilleries. Their single malts are known for green, vegetal and lightly smoked notes in their whiskies from the South Eastern Japanese alps, Hakushu was hardly known until about 2015. Hakushu has always been a favourite of the author but unfortunately the rest of the world has noticed it too.
