From a Single Oloroso Sherry Barrique; Auchroisk distillery from the Speyside region of Scotland. Aged 14 years and bottled at 50% ABV.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Vibrant aromas of blackberries, ginger biscuits, and a touch of orange zest, layered with hints of polished oak and a faint wisp of charcoal smoke.

Palate: Bold and robust, with flavors of plums and dark cherries, spiced with cracked black pepper and softened by a smooth chocolate creaminess. The oak influence adds structure without overpowering.

Finish: Drying and elegant, with lingering notes of charred oak, a bitter chocolate tang, and a gentle warmth of ginger spice.

Mainy mainstream brands that bottle premium whiskies at 43% or even lower (heresy! (kidding)). We didn't keep it cask strength because sometimes whiskies are just a bit too hot, so we decided to bottle all our whiskies going into the future at 50% - perfectly balance, as all whiskies should be.
