Adelphi Limited - Breath of Speyside 30y, 1992, 50.3%, 194b

Adelphi's Breath of Speyside single malt hails from an undisclosed Speyside distillery and spent 30 years maturing between 1992 and 2023. A release of 194 bottles, each with a cheeky cherub on the label, who looks like he's had more than is fair share of the whisky.

The perfumy nose has aromas of cedar with fresh red apples, banana and ripe citrus fruit with a herbal and vegetable characteristic. The palate is nutty and oaky with strawberry and zesty grapefruit. Great acidity with a salted nutty, honey glazed almond, marzipan-like spicy finish.
