This whisky is rather unusual from the The First Editions' series of whiskies from Hunter Laing. Instead of their normal single malt bottlings, this whisky is a blend of several Highland region distilleries of Scotland, therefore a highlands blended whisky. The whisky inside this single cask whisky is at minimum 26 years old. Only 21 bottles produced from this barrel of whisky.

From this whisky, you can expect a nose of dark chocolate, berries, and earthy notes. The palate is powerful and intense, with notes of toffee, apples, and chocolate truffles. The finish is very long with lingering spice. Bottled at 47.6% ABV.
