Hepburn's Choice (NEW) - Talisker 8y, 888b

Distilled in 2011, and after eight years in a sherry butt, it was bottled up in 2020 with an outturn of 888 bottles. Smoke and sherry done nicely. Lovely smoky bacon notes.

Nose: Familiar coastal wafts, with a lingering chocolatey note underneath.

Palate: Salted caramel tart, rhubarb crumble, a touch of seaweed.

Finish: Rounded vanilla notes, with a touch salt and pepper notes.
