Caskells - Orkney 11y, 2007, 59.9%, 107b
If you like a sherried style whisky, this one is for you. Bottled at cask strength of 59.9% ABV. Flavours range from some dark fruits, honey, heather, dark chocolates, espresso and oaky notes which lasts quite awhile. Some similarities to other well known sherry Speyside whiskies.
Officially speaking, this whisky is not a Highland Park whisky so it has to be called named as "An Orkney Distillery".
Only 107 bottles produced from this quarter cask. Caskells own bottling using quarter casks. We started our own independent bottling in 2017.
