Adelphi Limited - Teaninich 34y, 1983, 44%, 190b
Teaninich features as a single malt in IB and this one from Adelphi is a pretty good one! Not all whisky aged for long terms in casks are good and it takes good warehouse management and monitoring by the owners of the casks. This bottling has a robust expression with the wood adding complexity into the already fine spirit which went into it three decades ago.
Distilled in 1983 (from Cask 6728)
Adelphi bottles some of Scotland's best quality whisky no matter the age they bottle it at. Why?.... because they routinely only accept about 5% of the casks they taste. This high level of requirement means only the very best stuff gets through.
