Murray McDavid The Vatting Series presents The Speysiders, a 13-year-old blended malt Scotch whisky distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2024. This vatted malt combines the finest Speyside single malts and was finished in Pedro Ximénez sherry casks for added richness. The nose reveals raisins, dates, and Christmas cake with hints of dark chocolate and orange peel. On the palate, find sultanas, figs, and treacle balanced by sherry sweetness, toasted nuts, and warming spice. The finish is long with lingering dried fruit richness and elegant oak notes. Bottled at cask strength 54.1% ABV, limited to 1,294 bottles.
