Murray McDavid Benchmark Series presents this Miltonduff 15-Year-Old Speyside single malt, distilled in 2008 and bottled in 2024. This whisky features a dual finish in both Oloroso and Pedro Ximénez sherry casks, creating a perfect balance of nutty dryness and luscious sweetness. The nose reveals raisins, dates, and figs with toasted walnuts and dark chocolate. On the palate, find dried apricots, blackcurrants, and treacle balanced by sherry-soaked nuts and espresso. The finish is warming with molasses, orange zest, and dark chocolate. Bottled at cask strength 53.9% ABV, limited to 1,493 bottles.
