Taketsuru.... the father of Japanese whisky. He went to Scotland, learnt how to make whisky, brought back a Scottish wife and helped to set up Yamazaki before going on to set up Nikka. This bottling is a tribute to a true master of whisky.
It was announced earlier in 2020 all aged bottlings of Taketsuru will be discontinued, very worth collecting.
