Adelphi - Glenborrodale B7, 9y, 46%

Adelphi has a new distillery at Ardnamurchan. Driving along the south side of the peninsula is Glenborrodale. The Glenborrodale is a blended malt with this one being batch number 7.

Bottled at 46%, non-chill filtered and natural colour.

This blended malt behaves like a complex single malt. And that is one of the wonders of blending. Many large scale blends tend towards a very balanced flavour but this blend goes in a particular direction is more fun. This batch 7 is nicely cereal based with sweet dark fruits jams and sweetness.
