The Macallan Single 8 was chosen from a cask which at the time were much more plentiful in supply. There are almost no more casks like this one in the private market. Drawn from a first fill sherry cask, bottled at cask strength of 50.6% ABV, natural colour.

This is a rare and fine example of a Macallan made rarer by the fact that it is full strength and 30 years old. Only 204 bottles produced.

This Single 8 - Macallan bottling is a very nice drinking whisky albeit best saved for special occasions.

-Leather box packaging is slightly damaged.
-There were estimated to be 194 bottles from this sherry cask Macallan. The leatherbox packaging was made first. However, during actual bottling, there was more liquid than expected which produced 204 bottles in total. Therefore there was a mismatch between the packaging and the bottle label. The packaging states 194 bottles instead of 204 bottles which is on the bottle label.
